The “Professional Accountant” project implemented by the “Young Accountants” Public Union with the financial support of the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan has been launched.

The purpose of the project is to support the strengthening of the country's professional human resources, to bring together young accountants studying and working in this field, to involve them in courses on International Accounting Standards, Financial Accounting and Tax Law, employment of young accountants, professional training on preparation for the accounting exam.

According to the changes in the legislation, every accountant wishing to obtain professional status must be a member of a professional accounting organization and pass an examination. In order to provide employment, increase the knowledge and skills of accountants and obtain a professional accountant certificate, 30 young accountants aged 21-30 from Baku, 10 from Khachmaz and 20 from Ganja will be involved in the "Professional Accountant" course. On the website to be created within the project to support human resources in the country, accountants will be able to apply for vacancies announced by the companies involved in the project by posting their CVs on the site, thus ensuring the employment of accountants. As part of the project, educational videos will be prepared and disseminated in the media.
